Día de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) is an important tradition in Mexico. The people of Mexico invite deceased loved ones for a visit by decorating an altar with photos of their loved ones, a special bread called Pan de Muerto, other foods, sugar skulls, drinks, candles, and the Cempasúchil flower (marigold). In this scene, a mother and daughter are decorating the altar together when they are excited to see two deceased loved ones appear near the altar.
